Vietnam Veterans Day - Hivesville, Nanango and Kingaroy
Today is Vietnam Veterans Day, which was formerly known as Long Tan Day in memory of the 18 Australians killed at the battle of Long Tan on the 18th August 1966 when troops from 6th Battalion of the Royal Australian Regiment engaged a large enemy force there.
