South Burnett Careers Market - Kingaroy
The annual South Burnett Careers Market will be held at the Kingaroy TAFE campous in Geritz Road, Kingaroy from 9:00am to 4:00pm today. There'll be 35 exhibitors including the Defence Force and the Darling Downs Health Service right through to South Burnett Child Care Centre attending, plus try-a-trade activities, along with a sausage sizzle lunch with proceeds going to the Kingaroy Rotary Club. Men's Health Roadshow - Kingaroy
A Men's Health Roadshow will be held at Sunshine Mitre 10 in Rogers Drive, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to 7:45pm tonight. Former rugby league great Kerry Boustead will be a special guest, and in addition to lots of useful information about men's health issues there'll also be a free beer and barbecue will be on offer. Kumbia QCWA Meeting
The Kumbia QCWA will be holding their regular first Tuesday of the month meeting at the Kumbia QCWA Rooms in Bell Street. Kingaroy Writers Association Meeting
The Kingaroy Writers' Association will be meeting between 9:30am and 12:30pm this morning at the Uniting Church Hall on the corner of Alford and Youngman Streets in Kingaroy. Members meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month to share their work with other members and take part in writing and word exercises. A free Comunity Dinner will be held on the lawn of the Uniting Church at the corner of Alford and Youngman Streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm this evening. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association and is for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough (for whatever reason).
