If you were wondering what all the campervans and caravans were doing in Wooroolin at the weekend … they were there for Sue & Geoff’s Country Music Campout!

It’s the fourth time that local musicians Sue Bradley and Geoff Grevell have held their three-day event at Wooroolin Memorial Hall.

Sue said about 120 people – and 60 vans – rolled up for the latest event.

There was back-to-back music to enjoy, including walk-up performers.

A popular highlight is always the dance, which this time was held on Friday night.

Sue said it was amazing to see so many people up on the floor dancing.

“Everyone seemed very happy,” she said.

However, there was a touch of sadness, with two Campout regulars from the South Burnett missing from the latest event.

Musician Robert “Rocko” Langton died in 2022, while singer Aunty Lillian Gray died earlier this year.

The next Sue & Geoff’s Country Music Campout is scheduled to be held next October, on a date to be fixed.
