Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington wants to thank local community groups for all their hard work during 2015 with a special Christmas competition.
Mrs Frecklington has 15 x $100 fuel vouchers to give away to sporting clubs, service groups, P&Cs, rural fire brigades or other not-for-profit organisations.
“We all know how hard our volunteers work year round to keep our communities vibrant, safe and active,” Mrs Frecklington said.
“They deserve to be rewarded for their commitment and this year I’m giving away $100 fuel vouchers to 15 groups within the Nanango Electorate to thank them for their efforts and spread a little Christmas cheer,” she said.
To enter the competition either email or message Deb via her Facebook page with the following information:
- Name of your group
- Name of your President and Secretary
- Best contact phone number
- Club’s email address
- Club’s mailing address
Entries close on November 20.
“Winning clubs can decide how they would like to use the vouchers, such as in a raffle, or giving them away to one of their hard-working volunteers,” Mrs Frecklington said.
“I’m looking forward to drawing the winners and delivering them in time for Christmas!”
