Coby Murname scored the first of his two tries for the South Burnett Under 15s on Saturday

South Burnett Eagles’ juniors were in action in three rugby league games played at T.J. O’Neill Oval in Kingaroy on Saturday.

In Under 15s, the Eagles just missed out against the Hervey Bay Seagulls in a close game, 34-30, after leading at half-time.

South Burnett tries were scored by Coby Murname (2), Zac Borninkhof (2), Ethan Saal and Jaydarein Davidson-Prior. Quayden Langton kicked four conversions.

South Burnett had their revenge in Under 16s, downing Hervey Bay 46-12.

Try scorers included Zac Harris (2), Jacob Rattey (2), Kaiden Weston, Darrnell Gordon, Rainer Heard and Lachlan Ralston. Harris kicked five goals.

The South Burnett Eagles enjoyed a win in Under 17s, also played in Kingaroy, defeating the Gatton Hawks 32-12.
