Controversial ABC current affairs program Q&A is coming to Toowoomba.
The last time the TV show broadcast from the region was in 2012 when local grazier Georgie Somerset was a guest panellist; this time around Toowoomba mayor Paul Antonio has been invited along.
Other panellists will include University of Southern Queensland vice-chancellor Prof Jan Thomas, Rural Health Minister Fiona Nash, Federal Shadow Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs Joel Fitzgibbon and singer-songwriter Katie Noonan.
The show will be filmed before a live studio audience next Monday (October 26) at the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba from 7:30pm.
The Q&A episode is part of the ABC’s “On the Road Tour” of regional Australia during which it has been broadcasting many of its flagship TV and radio programs from Toowoomba.
