The Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning is conducting information sessions over the next few weeks in the local region for people interested in standing for the South Burnett, Cherbourg, Toowoomba or Gympie councils.
- October 7 – Toowoomba – 5:30pm
- October 15 – Nanango – 6:00pm
- October 20 – Gympie – 6:00pm
- October 28 – Murgon – 6:00pm
- November 3 – Kingaroy – 6:00pm
- November 10 – Cherbourg – 11:00am
