A trail bike rider has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after his bike and a car collided at Teelah.

The man, aged in his 50s, is believed to have been thrown from his bike by the impact.

An RACQ CareFlight spokesman said the rider came to rest about 10 metres from his machine, with multiple injuries.

The Sunshine Coast RACQ CareFlight crew were called to the incident just before 11:00am.

The helicopter landed in a nearby paddock to allow on the on-board doctor and paramedic to assist ambulance crews with treating the patient patient.

The man was flown to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A man aged in his 30s was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital and then flown to Brisbane with leg, arm and rib fractures after a truck and a motorbike collided on Redmans Road at Kingaroy about 11:00am.

The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the hospital just after 1:00pm.

It’s believed the rider was thrown 20 metres into the air on impact with the side of the truck.

He was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Police investigations are continuing.
