Rain has forced the postponement of the Murgon Christmas Carnival which was to have been held this afternoon.
The carnival will now be held on Monday (December 15).
All the planned events have been transferred.
Highlights will include live entertainment from the Wondai & District Band and Jeff Hancox, rides, food stalls and about $5000 in prizes and giveaways to be won by lucky shoppers who’ve been patronising Murgon’s Christmas Fair stores.
Santa Claus will drop in between 6:00pm and 8:15pm.
