A 50-year-old man has been flown to Brisbane after a trail bike accident in the Cherbourg Forestry area this afternoon.

The man, who was suffering leg and spinal injuries, was taken by road ambulance to meet the EMQ helicopter, which was called at 2:55pm.

The chopper landed on the oval at Wondai State School.

The man was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital. His condition is unknown.

  1. I am the rider’s son. He is doing ok at the PA Hospital. He has a broken C6 vertebra and is in surgery tonight (June 10) will be out around midnight
