A Kingaroy man had a rude shock when he saw his car on Sunday morning … a metal-tipped arrow was lodged deep into the bodywork.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police Snr Sgt Duane Frank said the arrow appeared to have been fired from a high-powered device.

It was lodged deep into the metal pillar between two windows.

The vehicle was parked in Alford Street at the time of the incident.

Snr Sgt Frank said he was appealing to any members of the public who had any information to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800-333-000 or phone the Kingaroy Police Station on (07) 4162-4900.
