The Quota Club of Kingaroy held its annual changeover dinner this evening at Captain’s Paddock cellardoor.

District Governor Sandra Verrall officially installed the new office bearers for 2014-15:

  • President Val Cecil
  • 1st Vice President Sandra Tincknell
  • 2nd Vice President Lila Perkins
  • Secretary Wendy Tully
  • Treasurer Alison Otto
  • Board Members: Dinah Marshall, Nancy Jeffrey, Janet Smith, Lorrie Pegrem

Retiring president Marie Shaw was thanked for leading the club for the past three years.

Special guests at the dinner were Michelle Garratt, from the South Burnett Private Hospital; and Angela Miles, from RACQ CareFlight.

The club presented the hospital with a cheque for $2000, and the helicopter rescue service with a cheque for $3500, as the result of special fund-raising activities.

Other guests at the dinner included South Burnett Deputy Mayor Keith Campbell and his wife Marion, and Howard Jack from the Kingaroy Lions Club.
