Two men suffered critical injuries in separate single-vehicle crashes across the region at the weekend.
On Friday night, emergency crews were called about 9:30pm to a single-vehicle crash on Nanango-Tarong Road at South Nanango.
A QAS spokesperson said a man in his 60s was transported by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital with potentially life-threatening head injuries.
The man’s vehicle reportedly ran off the road into a trees.
On Sunday morning, emergency services were called just after 9:00am to the D’Aguilar Highway after a motorcycle crashed near the intersection with Possum Bush Road at the foot of the Blackbutt Range near Moore.
The rider, a man aged in his 40s, was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious facial and arm injuries in a critical condition.
The highway was closed while a rescue helicopter attended the incident.
