South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Tom Curtain In Concert - Kumbia
Multiple Golden Guitar winner and horseman extraordinaire Tom Curtain will be bringing his Katherine Outback Experience Tour to the Kumbia race course at 8902 Bunya Highway, Kumbia from 6:00pm to 8:30pm this evening (gates open at 5:30pm). The show will feature a one-hour KOE Show with horses and dogs, followed by a 30 minute intermission with live music from special guests, and then an hour of live music by Tom and guests, featuring both old favourites and new numbers from his recently released 4th album. A cash bar and food will also be available onsite, but BYO is not permitted. Tickets are $30 for adults or $15 for students aged 5-17 (under-5s are free) if booked online in advance, or $40 and $25 if purchased at the gate tonight.
Friday Croquet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Croquet Club will be playing croquet games at the Kingaroy Cricket Club in Youngman Street, Kingaroy (just next to Beangrowers) from 9:00am to around noon this morning. New members are always welcome and a $2 lesson is available if you'd like tuition in the basics (all equipment is supplied). More details? Phone (07) 4163-5574.
