The Cooyar Show is always a really great family day out, with free face painting and sample bags for children. This year's Grand Parade will run at 2:30pm, followed by the official opening at 2:45pm. As well as all the usual highlights including pavilion exhibits, led steer and stud beef competitions and a fun Sideshow Alley, there’ll also be a Ute Muster, a whacky Smash Up Derby, chainsaw and post ripping events, Young Judges & Paraders competitions and Nickleby The Magician. The daytime activities will be followed in the evening by live music, a giant fireworks display at around 8:30pm and the ever-popular Cooyar Bull Ride. Entry to this year's Cooyar Show is still just $20 for adults and $5 for high school students (primary school aged children are free) and everyone is welcome along! For more information and/or show schedules, phone Show secretary Sue on (07) 4692-6200 or the Show Society's office (on Show day only) on (07) 4692-6281, or visit the Cooyar Show's website to get this year's schedule.
