Focus On You Community Health Expo - Murgon

The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be hosting a free Focus On You Community Health Expo from 5:00pm to 9:30pm this evening with special guest speaker, former rugby league great Shane Webcke. The Expo will also feature information sessions on WH&S, Cyber Safety, Medication Safety, Fall Prevention and Connected Communities, and there'll also be a sausage sizzle, raffles, lucky door prizes, trade displays and a kitchen fire simulation. The South Burnett Arthritis & Osteoporosis Support Group will be running Tai Chi classes at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy this morning. An intermediate class will run from 9:00am to 10:00am, followed by a beginners class from 10:15am to 11:15am. The classes aim to help relieve pain and improve quality of life, relieve stress, sharpen concentration, and improve balance, posture and mobility. A Kingaroy CA Field Day will be held at the Ag & Fisheries Research Institute in Cooyar Road, Taabinga (opposite Kingaroy Airport) from 10:00am to 3:00pm today. The event will allow participants to see the latest John Deere tractors from 40hp up to 400hp and a range of John Deere lawn mowers. They'll also be able to find out more about the John Deere product range and talk with representatives from John Deere Financial.
