Tarong West Wind Farm Community Info Session - Ironpot

Tarong West Wind Farm will be holding a community information session at Ironpot's Farmers Hall at Jarail Road in Ironpot from 10:00am until around 1:00pm today to update residents about potential impacts during the construction and operational phases of the project and ensure that feedback from the local community and project neighbours is received and considered in advance of the planned development application submission in November/December 2023. Today's meeting is a follow-up to earlier meetings held in July, and all interested people are welcome to attend.

The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be holding a Meet & Greet at Adventure 4 x 4 & More at 79 River Road, Kingaroy at 5:15pm this evening (for a 5:30pm start). Tonight's get-together will kick off with the KCCI's Annual General Meeting, and will be followed by presentations from local businesses including Adventure 4 x 4 & More and Fempro Armour. The cost to attend is $10 per person for KCCI members or $15 for non-members, which includes nibbles and drinks. Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, nor is it allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy

The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
