A Murder Is Announced - Nanango
The Nanango Theatre Company is presenting a (very) limited run of Agatha Christie's whodunit "A Murder Is Announced" this weekend at their playhouse on the corner of Elk and George streets, Nanango. An advertisement appears in a local newspaper, residents gather ... then shots ring out! Tickets are $25 (or $20 concession) and can be booked online. Today's matinee production will start at 11:00am.

Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club will be hosting another game from the Darling Downs Community competition at their grounds at Tom Alford Oval in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy, today. At 11:00am, Kingaroy Division 2 v Wests Wanderers; and at 1:00pm, Kingaroy Division 1 v Dalby. Spectators are urged to come along to watch this top-of-the-table clash and support the local teams in action. The canteen will also be open!

The Linville Progress Association will be holding their monthly markets at Linville Community Hall from 7:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning.
