Pink Day Soccer - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club will be raising funds today at Tom Alford Oval in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy, for the local McGrath Cancer Care Nurse with their annual "Pink Day". At 9:30am, Kingaroy JFC Cadets v Combined Kingaroy Women's team; at 11:00am, Kingaroy Division 1 v Highfields; and at 1:00pm, Kingaroy Division 2 v Rockville Rovers. There'll also be a lot of pink fun, with fairy floss, raffles and games.
South Burnett Community Share - Nanango
- The monthly South Burnett Community Share will be held at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango at 9:00am (for a 9:30am start) this morning. Guests at this free get-together, held on the third Sunday of every month, can bring along any excess fruit, vegetables or other household items they have to swap with others for things they may need, or simply to give them away. The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held at Les Muller Park in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around noon today. Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
- A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
