A Murder Is Announced - Nanango

The Nanango Theatre Company is presenting a (very) limited run of Agatha Christie's whodunit "A Murder Is Announced" this weekend at their playhouse on the corner of Elk and George streets, Nanango. An advertisement appears in a local newspaper, residents gather ... then shots ring out! Tickets are $25 (or $20 concession) and can be booked online. Tonight's production will start at 7:00pm. There'll also be a 2:00pm afternoon performance tomorrow and an 11:00am matinee on Sunday.

Arts And Crafts Day - Linville

Murgon to Kingaroy Shopping Bus

Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Murgon and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their address at 8:30am and transport them to the Kingaroy Mall (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey about 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $15 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Fridays (except public holidays) but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Women's Soccer - Kingaroy

Round 5 of the South Burnett Women's Football competition will be played this evening at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy. At 6:15pm, Kingaroy Easts v Barambah and at 7:35pm, Kingaroy Wests v South Burnett United. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy

The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 or $25 options to select food and the other items that most people need to get through part of the week.
