Heritage NananGO PLAYfest
The Nanango Theatre Company will be presenting the first night of their three-day 2025 Heritage NananGO PLAYfest one-act play competition at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango from 7:00pm this evening. The event is fully accessible, fully catered (with a bar) and is just $10 per session (three plays) or $40 for the whole weekend (15 plays). A weekend family ticket is $100 (two adults and three children). Tickets can be booked online. Competition winners will be announced on Sunday afternoon.
Arts And Crafts Day - Linville
- Arts and crafts sessions are held fortnightly on Fridays from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Linville Hall, 40 George Street. Everyone is welcome! BYO craft or just drop in and enjoy a chat.
Wondai Art Gallery Extension Opening
The Wondai Regional Art Gallery, on the roundabout at Wondai, has a special celebration on tonight coinciding with the opening of its September exhibition. Special guests have been invited to officially open the gallery's new extension so it's going to be a big night! But as usual, there'll also be hot and cold finger foods and punch, glasses of wine, live music and lots of fun socialising. Doors will open at 5:30pm and for tonight's special event, admission is free! Note: After tonight's opening the exhibition, which features works by Katrina O'Shannessy and Chris Osborne, will remain on show from 10:00am to 3:00pm daily until September 27.

Neil Diamond Tribute Show - Kingaroy
- Steve Cummins will be bringing his Neil Diamond Tribute Show to the Kingaroy RSL Club in Markwell Street this evening. Steve will be playing in the Tobruk Room from 7:00pm. Elvis Tribute Show - Nanango

- Yarraman Bowls Club, on the New England Highway, is hosting a family-friendly barefoot bowls afternoon from 4:00pm this afternoon. No equipment is needed (just wear flat-sole shoes). South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
