South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Heritage Nanango Country Music Muster
The 2025 Heritage Nanango Country Music Muster will continue today at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street, Nanango. Today's activities include a Bush Poets brekkie from 7:00am to 10:00am hosted by Gary Fogarty, followed by the official opening at 11:30am. There'll be music on the main stage from noon until 10:00pm. Confirmed artists at this year's muster include Kylie Castle, Brian Letton, Rodney Vincent, Amos Morris, Owen Blundell, Dean Perrett and Pete Smith. There'll be meals available (and the bar will open) from 6:00pm. The entrance fee for today is $30 or a weekend pass can be purchased for $70 per person (children aged 14-17 years are half price, under 14s accompanied by an adult are free). Camping is available at the Showgrounds and fees range between $10 and $20 per night for unpowered or powered sites - but a booking for any camp site is essential because the Muster usually packs the Showgrounds to capacity. Rural Industry Field Day - Kingaroy
Kewpie Stockfeeds will be hosting a Rural Industry Field Day from 9:00am today at their premises at 9-13 Youngman Street, Kingaroy. There'll be lots of rural industry suppliers on hand showcasing their products and services, as well as interesting demonstrations. There'll also be presentations about animal nutrition, biosecurity and cyber security plus much more. Food and drinks will be available as well as barista coffee and entertainment by MISfITZ. Entry is free and there's prizes to be won as well as raffles.
Kingaroy Junior Cricket AGM - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Junior Cricket Association will be holding a second Annual general Meeting from 5:00pm tonight in the Anzac Room at the Kingaroy RSL Club. All members, parents and interested parties are urged to attend to discuss the future of the club for the 2025-26 season.
Child Protection Week Dinner - Wondai
The South Burnett Child Protection Week Committee will be hosting the annual Child Protection Week dinner from 5:45pm tonight at Wondai Memorial Hall. Tickets are $75 per head which includes grazing platters and a camp-oven style dinner. A licensed bar will be operating. There'll also be an art auction, multi-draw raffles and a keynote speaker. Fitness & Friends - Murgon

South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
