Heritage Nanango Country Music Muster
The 2025 Heritage Nanango Country Music Muster will conclude today at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street, Nanango. There'll be a Bush Poets brekkie from 7:00am to 9:30am, hosted by Gary Fogarty, followed by a Gospel morning concert hosted by Dean Perrett from 9:30am to noon. Entrance today is free. Camping is available at the Showgrounds and fees range between $10 and $20 per night for unpowered or powered sites - but a booking for any camp site is essential because the Muster usually packs the Showgrounds to capacity. Community Group Expo - Nanango
- Discover what community groups are doing in Nanango at the inaugural Community Group Expo at Ringsfield House, from 9:30am to 4:00pm today. There'll be a sausage sizzle and coffee van on site as well as live demonstrations by La Crème Dance Academy, Nanango Bai Rui Taekwon-Do and Nanango Tai Chi. Entry by gold coin donation. South Burnett Eagles Breakup - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Rugby League's annual trophy presentations day will be held from 12:30pm today at the Kingaroy Showgrounds (enter via the Speedway gate in Avoca Street).

Junior Motorcycle Speedway - Kingaroy
The weather has wrecked the Kingaroy Junior Motorcycle Speedway Club's schedule this year so the "Junior Bees" will be hoping everything goes to plan this weekend (fifth time lucky!). The club will be hosting a big catch-up day (Club Days 5, 6 & 7) today on the main oval of Kingaroy Showgrounds in Youngman Street, Kingaroy (but use the Avoca Street entrance) with racing from around 10:00am through until this afternoon. Club Days 1, 2, 3 & 3 were raced yesterday. The club is for young motorcycle riders aged 4 to 16 and spectators are very welcome, with free admission. More details? Phone 0407-623-012.
Community Pickleball - Woolooga
- Woolooga Community Hall is hosting community pickleball every Sunday from 3:30pm at the hall at 8 Thomas Street, Woolooga. Everyone is welcome to come along, including beginners. All equipment is provided at the court, so just bring water!
Murgon Sunday Markets
The monthly Murgon Markets will be held in Lamb Street in the heart of Murgon from 7:00am until about 12:00 noon today. - The Wondai Community Share will be held at Dingo Creek Park, on the Bunya Highway, from 9:00am today. Guests at this free get-together can bring along any excess fruit, vegetables, baked goods or other household items they have to swap with others for things they may need, or simply to give them away.
