Autumn Rodeo - Goomeri
The three-day Goomeri Pumpkin Festival will get under way this evening with a night rodeo at Goomeri Showgrounds hosted by the Goomeri Show Society and Goomeri State School P&C, and sponsored hy Durack Civil. Gates open at 3:30pm. As well as the bull and bronc action in the ring, there'll be a licensed bar, canteen, free children's entertainment including face-painting and a jumping castle, and a DJ until late. The P&C is raising funds for their Years 6-9 students to attend a camp in Cairns this year. You can find out more on the Pumpkin Festival's website.
Wine & Cheese Under The Stars - Goomeri
- Barambah Homestead, in Perrett Street, Goomeri, will be hosting a wine and cheese night from 5:30pm tonight as part of the Goomeri Pumpkin festival weekend. Cost is $70 per head which includes the grazing table and a complimentary glass of wine. There'll also be live music by VidaPhunk. Tickets can be booked online
Under 8s Day - Nanango
- Nanango State School at 39 Drayton Street will be hosting Under 8s Day activities from 9:00am to 11:00am this morning. There'll be a range of activities for young children and families are invited!
Kingaroy QCWA Scone Day
The Kingaroy QCWA will be holding another of their popular Scone Days in their rooms at 122 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy (just next to the RSL) from 9:00am this morning to around 11:00am. Visitors can enjoy a delicious morning tea or phone in an order and pick up some freshly-baked scones! Fitness & Friends - Murgon

Friday Line Dancing - Kingaroy

- Wooroolin Line Dancing has come to Wondai! - Well, the weekly get-together has temporarily moved to the Masonic Lodge in Gipps Street as The Shed is currently off-limits! South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
