Scots In The Bush Festival - Boondooma
The final day of this year's Scots In The Bush Scottish and Celtic Festival will be held at Boondooma Homestead at 8262 Mundubbera-Durong Road at Boondooma today. The Festival - the largest of its kind in Queensland - features Scottish pipe bands and dancers, folk singers and poets as well as Scottish food, games and much more. Everyone who loves Celtic culture are invited to come along and listen to the skirl of the pipes, the beat of the drums and the swirl of the kilts! Special guests this year include Australian Celtic Women, Brian Letton, Clyde Cameron, Dr Heather Clarke (Ceilidh), the Hervey Bay Pipe Band, Ishka Celtic Music, Maryborough Musos Ukulele, the Moreton Celtic Fiddle Club, Mouldy Haggis, the Noosa & District Pipe Band, Rum City Highland Dancers, Tom Kimmet, Gary Fogarty and Paddy O'Brien. Vix - Kingaroy

Blackbutt Country Markets
The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held at Les Muller Park in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around noon today. The markets offer a wide range of locally produced arts, crafts and freshly harvested foodstuffs from more than 40 stallholders and everyone is welcome along! Taromeo Country Music Club - Blackbutt
- Taromeo Country Music Club will be holding a music practice from 10:00am to 2:00pm today at the Blackbutt Golf Club, 51 Langton Road, Blackbutt. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in (BYO instrument!) or simply to listen! Entry is $6.00. Lunch and drinks can be purchased at the club. Kumbia Museum
- The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Rugby League - Blackbutt
A game from the second last round of the Toowoomba Junior Rugby League's Under 19s competition will be played this afternoon at Ian "Bunny" Pearce Oval in Railway Street, Blackbutt. At 2:15pm the South Burnett Eagles will take on Toowoomba Valleys. Entry to the grounds is $5.
South Burnett Community Share - Nanango
- The monthly South Burnett Community Share will be held at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango at 9:00am (for a 9:30am start) this morning. Guests at this free get-together, held on third Sunday of every month, can bring along any excess fruit, vegetables or other household items they have to swap with others for things they may need, or simply to give them away. Everyone is welcome!
Sunday Soccer - Kingaroy
Kingaroy's last two games in the Darling Downs Men's Community Competition will be played today at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy. At 11:00am the Division 2 Kingaroy team will take on the Rockville Rovers. At 1:00pm, Kingaroy Division 1 will play TN UniSQ. The canteen will be open with lunch, drinks and snacks available. Entry is free, so come along and cheer the local players in their last game of the season!
Cutting Horse Competition - Goomeri
- Today is Day 3 of the three-day competition organised by the Southern Queensland Cutting Horse Association at the Goomeri Showgrounds. A canteen will be available for breakfast and lunch and a licensed bar will also be operating. There are events for novices, beginners, juniors, rookies and amateurs with cash prizes. Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy

Community Pickleball - Woolooga
- Woolooga Community Hall is hosting community pickleball every Sunday from 3:30pm at the hall at 8 Thomas Street, Woolooga. Everyone is welcome to come along, including beginners. All equipment is provided at the court, so just bring water!
Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
- A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
