Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington has announced the latest recipients of her “Local Hero” grants program.
“These are small but meaningful grants of $250 that are designed to provide modest donations to not-for-profit community groups and individuals from across the Nanango Electorate,” Mrs Frecklington said.
The Round 23 recipients are:
- Manumbar District Centenary – Gather research and information for centenary
- Mondure & District Rural Fire Brigade – Chairs and tables for training sessions and events
- Yarraman Festival – Sponsorship
- Lacey Harch – To attend the Wide Bay schoolgirls football carnival in Townsville
- Quinton Whitley – To attend athletics multiclass trials at Sunshine Coast
“This is the ninth year since my Local Hero Grants began and I would like to congratulate the groups and students who were successful and wish them all the best for their events,” Mrs Frecklington said.
