April 22, 2014

Kingaroy Police are urging motorists to be vigilant around school zones now the Easter break is over.

Students can be unpredictable in their excitement to return to school and see their friends.

Motorists should also show extra caution around school bus areas, as children may unexpectedly emerge from between or in front of buses.

In the South Burnett Regional Council area, the school zone times are 8:00am–9:30am and 2:30pm–4:00pm.

As school zone times in other Council areas may differ from these times, always pay close attention to the times indicated when coming into school zones.
