Funding from the Department of Veterans Affairs has enabled Kingaroy RSL Sub-Branch to set up a Veterans Drop-In Centre for veterans and their families.
The centre, which will be co-located at the Orana Lutheran Complex Administration building, will be officially opened at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 5.
Initially the centre will be open every Wednesday from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
All veterans and their families are welcome to come and enjoy the facilities.
Any veteran or family member requiring assistance with any matter are encouraged to speak to one of the representatives who will be present each day.
The RSL Welfare bus will be available to provide transport assistance, and the centre has been included on the Kingaroy Community Bus route.
