Wondai Christmas Eve Carnival
Wondai's traditional Christmas Eve Carnival will be held at the Wondai Showgrounds in Baynes Street, Wondai from 5:00pm onwards this evening when the BBQs fire up and the hamburgers and sausages start to sizzle. This popular Carnival will feature amusements for young children; a BBQ plus tea, coffee and soft drinks; a ham wheel; a goods wheel; great Super Draws; and Christmas favourites performed by the Wondai & District Band. Santa will also be putting in an appearance at around 7:30pm with free ice-blocks for the children. The Christmas Eve Carnival is always a really great way to get together with friends in Wondai at Yuletide, and it also helps raise funds for Wondai's annual show. More details? Hivesville Country Markets
The monthly Hivesville Country Markets will be held at Memorial Park (opposite the Hivesville Hotel) from 7:00am to around noon this morning. These family-friendly markets are held on the 4th Sunday of every month and feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. New stallholders are very welcome, too!
Hivesville Devonshire Teas
- Hivesville's QCWA are celebrating their centenary this year, and the branch will be opening the doors at their rooms in Main Street from 7:00am to noon this morning to offer visitors Devonshire Teas and boutique-style coffee plus plants, crafts and general bric-a-brac items - the perfect complement to the Hivesville Markets just across the road. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a delicious morning tea and/or browse for a bargain.
Sunday Sesh Open Mic Afternoon - Nanango
The Commercial Hotel in Drayton Street, Nanango will be hosting an Open Mic Afternoon from 2:00pm to around 6:00pm today, led by Sonia McMahon from Rufus Jack. A PA system is supplied - just bring your voice and/or instrument - and there's no admission. The hotel's kitchen will also be open for dinner or snacks. More info? Sunday Bingo - Wondai

Kumbia Museum
- The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon.
