Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch Meeting
The Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch will be holding their first monthly meeting for 2015 at the QCWA Rooms next to Kingaroy RSL in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to around 7:30pm tonight. The Twilight Branch is a new branch of the QCWA which is designed for working women and busy mums. It meets in the evenings and is separate from the traditional Kingaroy branch (which meets during the day). The Twilight Branch is open to all women who'd like to take part in QCWA activities and/or find out more about this highly respected community organisation. New members are always very welcome! South Burnett Regional Council Meeting - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding its second general meeting for 2015 at the Glendon Street Council Chambers in Kingaroy at 9:00am this morning. Meetings are open to the public.
Grazing BMP Workshop - Kingaroy
The Burnett Mary Regional Group will be holding a Grazing BMP Workshop in Kingaroy today. This free workshop is the first in a series of three that will cover five different modules (the second and third workshops will be held on March 18 and April 22). Participants will be able to benchmark themselves against industry best practice; identify opportunities and develop a plan to improve their business performance; and access information and support. Morning tea and lunch will be provided, but to plan catering an RSVP is essential. Tourism Advisory Group Meeting - Kingaroy
The regional tourism board Southern Queensland Country Tourism will be holding a quarterly Tourism Advisory Group (TAG) meeting at the 1913 Council Chambers behind the Kingaroy Visoitor Information Centre at 128 Haly Street, Kingaroy at 5:30pm this evening. The purpose of the meeting is to advise interested South Burnett tourism operators about current and future regional marketing initiatives, and all interested people are welcome. Afternoon tea will be served before the meeting gets underway, though, so an RSVP would be appreciated for catering purposes: (07) 4632-1988
Nanango Country Quilters & Crafts Group
The Nanango Country Quilters And Crafts group meet every Wednesday at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango between 9:00am to 2:00pm. Members can get to pursue a wide variety of crafts at these informal gatherings and the $4 meeting fee includes morning tea (but BYO cup and lunch). There's also usually a raffle as well. Nanango Men's Shed

Community Forum - Blackbutt
The Blackbutt branch of Bendigo Community Bank will be holding a Community Forum at the Blackbuitt Memorial Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm to 9:00pm this evening to discuss future projects that could be funded with funds generated by the bank's community funding initiatives. This is the first such forum that's been held since April 2010, and everyone is welcome but an RSVP to the branch at 49 Coulson Street would be appreciated if possible.
Murgon Rotary Club Meeting

Man Cave - Kingaroy
The Sister Dolores Carroll Training Centre at St Mary's Catholic College at 10 Kent Street in Kingaroy will be transforming into a "Man's Cave" between 6:30pm and 10:00pm tonight. Qualified instructors will be demonstrating the use of all the equipment in the centre - great stuff like lathes, drills etc - and if you're a man interested in restoring or manufacturing wood or metal products and socialising with other men who have similar interests, then this could be the place for you! Indoor Bowls & Cards Day - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. Indoor bowls competitions commence at 9:00am and cards at around 1:00pm, and the $2 admission includes a cup of tea. Everyone is welcome. For more details phone (07) 4163-6191.
Timbertown Woodworkers Group Meeting
The Timbertown Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Wednesday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Goomeri SES Meeting
The Goomeri SES will be holding their regular Wednesday night training session at the SES Building in Dickinson Park, Goomeri from 6:30pm to around 8:30pm tonight.
