Proston Rally
The Proston Car Rally Club will be holding the second (and final) day of their first quarterly CAMS Khanacross Multiclub Rally for 2015 at their track this morning. The club's track is located 7.5km west of Proston on the Proston-Boondooma Road, and racing will commence around 8:00am and conclude with results and awards around 1:30pm. Up to 50 cars attend Proston Rally Club meetings from all over Queensland and NSW and spectators are very welcome. There'll be a BBQ and soft drinks stand running throughout the event, as well as a hearty breakfast supplied by the Proston Lions club. Hot showers, toilets and free camping are available on site too. Admission to the Rally is 100% free for spectators, $50 for adult participants and $25 for juniors. More details? RSPCA Car and Dog Wash - Kingaroy
- Yhe Kingaroy RSPCA will be holding a Car and Dog Wash Day from 10:00am to 3:00pm today at their shelter in Geoff Raph Drive at Kingaroy Airport. You can get your car or dog washed for $10 or get both washed for $15. There'll also be a BBQ and baked goods sale on the grounds - and if you decide to adopt a new pet today you can get your car washed for free.
