Back To Basics Music Muster - Coverty

Today is Day 1 of the five-day Back To Basics Music Muster at 1385 Proston-Boondooma Road, Coverty (13km west of Proston). The Muster will feature performances from Rob Breese, Rusty Ringers, Brian Letton, Reece Blinman, the Cartwheels, Zac Anthony, Alice Benfer, Matt Manning, Clarrie Weller and Clyde Cameron plus extra guest artists, walk-up acts and bush poetry. There's free bush camping on site and toilets (but no showers) and campfires are allowed. A canteen will be operating plus a coffee van but guests should BYO seating and liquid refreshments. Tickets are $40 per head per day or $110 for a five-day pass (under 16s free) but must be booked in advance. Tickets can booked online.

Crafty Get Together - Nanango

Nanango To Kingaroy Shopping Bus

Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Nanango and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their Nanango address at 8:30am and transport them to the Kingaroy Mall (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey to Nanango at around 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $10 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Wednesdays, but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Free Community Meal - Kingaroy

A free community meal - dine-in or takeaway - is available every Wednesday night from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at The Salvation Army Hall, 109 Kingaroy St, Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.

South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy

The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $50 or $35 options to select food and the other items.

Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Nanango every Wednesday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Catholic Church hall at the corner of Alfred and Gipps street.
