Scots In The Bush Festival - Boondooma

The final day of this year's Scots In The Bush Scottish and Celtic Festival will be held at Boondooma Homestead at 8262 Mundubbera-Durong Road at Boondooma today. The Festival - the largest of its kind in Queensland - features Scottish pipe bands and dancers, folk singers and poets as well as Scottish food, games and much more. Everyone who loves Celtic culture are invited to come along and listen to the skirl of the pipes, the beat of the drums and the swirl of the kilts! Special guests this year include Australian Celtic Women, Brian Letton, Clyde Cameron, Hervey Bay Pipe Band, Maryborough Musos Ukulele, Moreton Celtic Fiddle Club, Mouldy Haggis, Noosa & District Pipe Band, Rum City Highland Dancers, Celtic Cowboy, Murrumba Pipe Band, Celtic Crossover, Toowoomba Caledonian Pipe Band & Burnett Celtic Pipes & Drums; plus poets Paddy O'Brien & Gary Fogarty.Tickets can be booked on Boondooma Homestead's website.

Motors & Mochas - Kingaroy

Motors & Mochas will be held at the Kingaroy Machinery Club's grounds in Geoff Raph Drive at Kingaroy Airport from 9:00am to around 11:00am this morning. People who'd like to take part should bring along a car, motorcycle or other vehicle they're particularly proud of, then grab a cuppa and appreciate the diverse range of machines on display. There's no cost to enter a vehicle or attend, and everyone is welcome!

SBJMX RPA Ride Day - Kingaroy

The South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club will be holding a special non-competitive Ride Parks Australia Day today at their track, the Joel Evans Raceway, on Edenvale South Road, Kingaroy.
