Tableland Markets
The Tableland Hall Committee will be holding their popular bi-annual Market Day at Tablelands Hall from 7:00am to around 1:00pm today. These markets are only held twice a year and are becoming quite a crowd-pleaser with a numerous stalls in attendance offering everything from fresh produce through to coffee and tea, cakes and baked goods, plants and bric-a-brac. There'll also be a great sausage sizzle on offer, a raffle and background music. Cr Kathy Duff will also be in attendance at 11:00am this morning to accept the committee's appreciation for the recent upgrade of the Hall's power system, which was donated by the South Burnett Regional Council. Timbertown Woodworkers Group Meeting - Blackbutt
- The Timbertown Woodworkers Group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:00am until around 12:00pm today. South Burnett Feather Club 37th Annual Show & Sale - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Feather Club - an organisation which aims to further the development of show poultry - will be holding its 37th annual show and sale at the Kingaroy Showgrounds in Youngman St, Kingaroy from 8:00am onwards this morning. The Feather Show usually attracts more than 450 entries (covering 30 different breeds) from as far afield as Gympie, Monto, Brisbane and Bundaberg and this year looks like being no different. Judging will commence as soon as the gates open and trophies will be presented to the winners around 2:00pm. Sunday Markets - Kilkivan

2012 Bush Balladeers Muster - Boondooma
The 2012 Spirit Of The Bush Heritage Weekend and Balladeers Muster will kick off at Boondooma Homestead on the Boondooma-Mundubbera Road north of Durong at 9:00am this morning for the last day of five days of non-stop entertainment from a wide range of invited artists, walk-up artists and bush poets, along with guided historic tours of the property for anyone interested in inspecting this iconic South Burnett site. Manumbar Campdraft
