Dramatic Beginnings - Nanango

The Nanango Theatre Company will be presenting their latest productions - four one-act plays "In The Blood", "Good News Bad News", "When I Was One" and "Whoops A Daisy" - at their theatre on the corner of Elk and George streets, Nanango at 7:00pm tonight (doors open at 6:30pm). Disaster Recovery - Booubyjan

Residents affected by the recent flash flooding have been invited to attend a Disaster Recovery information event today at the Booubyjan Hall, just off the Burnett Highway. Just drop in at any time between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. There'll be representatives from Rural Aid, QRIDA, the DPI, Centrelink, AgForce, the Rural Financial Counselling Service (and others) on hand to answer questions and provide helpful information. There'll also be a free barbecue and refreshments, and an activity corner set up for the kids!

Bookarama VIP Launch - Kingaroy

St John's Lutheran School Kingaroy P&F will be launching the 2026 Bookarama from 5:00pm this evening at Kingaroy Town Hall. This is the first chance to browse all the books, music, DVDs, puzzles, games and more; and enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival and nibbles. Tickets are $10 but numbers are strictly limited! Heritage House Meal Night - Yarraman

The Yarraman Heritage Centre, at 26 Millar Street, holds a meal night on the last Friday of every month. Doors open at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start. The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further.
