South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Mondure Gardening Experience
Mondure's 4th annual Gardening Experience will be running at Mondure Hall in McConnell Way, Mondure from 9:00am to 3:00pm today. This garden extravaganza will feature guest speakers including Romaine Undery, Helen Young, Graham Mitchell and Penny Hegarty. There'll also be plant stalls where you can browse and buy. Harvest Share & Swap - Yarraman
A free community produce swap is held every Sunday from 9:00am to 10:00am at The Pink Flamingo, 19 Toomey Street, Yarraman. This is an opportunity to share your unwanted produce, seeds or seedlings.
Blackbutt Country Markets
The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held at Les Muller Park in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around noon today. The markets offer a wide range of locally produced arts, crafts and freshly harvested foodstuffs from more than 40 stallholders and everyone is welcome along! South Burnett Community Share - Nanango
The monthly South Burnett Community Share will be held at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango at 9:00am (for a 9:30am start) this morning. Guests at this free get-together, held on the third Sunday of every month, can bring along any excess fruit, vegetables or other household items they have to swap with others for things they may need, or simply to give them away. Everyone is welcome!
Junior Touch Development Carnival - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Touch Association is hosting a Junior Development Carnival today for new or inexperienced players. Age groups are U10, U12 or U14 for boys and girls. Tag-Along Tour - Blackbutt
POSTPONED The Blackbutt and District Tourism and Heritage Association will be running a Tagalong Tour from 8:30am today. Guests should meet up at the Roy Emerson Museum at the end of Roy Emerson Way in Blackbutt, from where they'll proceed to Cooyar where they'll visit an historic grave and stroll across the Swinging Bridge before visiting the Muntapa Tunnel and then on to Peranga and the Kulpi Hotel for lunch. Then it's on to the historic Evergreen Cemetery and Haden Lookout. The tour costs $20 (which includes morning tea). All proceeds to support the BDTHA. To help with the catering, RSVP to 0493-761-985.

Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
