Blue Light Disco - Kingaroy
A Blue Light Disco will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy, for Prep to Year 9 students this evening. Doors open at 6:00pm. All students aged 15 and under must be signed in by an adult. Parents or guardians of students aged 8 years and under must remain for the whole night. Fitness & Friends - Murgon

Back To Basics Music Muster - Coverty
Today is Day 3 of the five-day Back To Basics Music Muster at 1385 Proston-Boondooma Road, Coverty (13km west of Proston). The Muster will feature performances from Rob Breese, Kerry Kennedy, Lach Mackay, Bob Walters, Brendon Walmsley, Reece Blinman, Brian Howard, Drew Blundell, Steve Sparrow, Alice Benfer, Clarrie Weller and Clyde Cameron plus extra guest artists, walk-up acts and bush poetry. There's free bush camping on site and toilets (but no showers) and campfires are allowed. A canteen will be operating plus a coffee van but guests should BYO seating and liquid refreshments. Tickets are $40 per head per day or $110 for a five-day pass (under 16s free) but must be booked in advance. Tickets can ordered by phoning the organisers on 0412-884-482 or booked online.
Kingaroy RSL Bingo
Bingo games will be running at Kingaroy RSL from 9:30am this morning (eyes down at 10:30am). There'll be multiple jackpots on offer, along with book games and raffles, and proceeds will go to help local good causes. Everyone is welcome. More details? Phone the RSL on (07) 4162-1755.
Nanango Kennel Club

Cooyar Show Campdraft
The first day of the two-day Cooyar Show Campdraft will be held at the Cooyar Showgrounds in Rangemore Road, Cooyar from 5:00am this morning until late in the afternoon. Today's campdrafting action will feature Novice, Maiden 4 Maiden, Junior, Juvenile, Maiden and Ladies Drafts for cash prizes ranging from $200 (juniors) up to $2000. Entry to the campdraft is 100% free for spectators, and there'll also be a bar and canteen running as well as plenty of campsites available in the Showgrounds if you want to stay over. The finals will be held tomorrow during the annual Cooyar Show. Everyone is welcome! Note: There are no ATM or EFTPOS facilities available in Cooyar, so bring cash.
Spice It Up - Murgon

Burrandowan Campdraft
The first day of the three-day annual Burrandowan Campdraft will be held at the Chahpingah Reserve on Burra Burri Road, about 60km south-west of Kingaroy, from early this morning until around sunset. Today's action will focus on Novice heats and Novice finals. The campdraft is a fundraiser for the Burrandowan Picnic Races in May. Murgon To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Murgon and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their address at 8:30am and transport them to the Kingaroy Mall (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey about 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $15 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Fridays (except public holidays) but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Ping Pong Fridays - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Neighbourhood Centre offers free ping pong every Friday from noon to 1:00pm at the Biscuit Tin, 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy. Refreshments are available. Everyone is welcome but an RSVP is required on (07) 4162-5439.
Barefoot Bowls - Yarraman
Yarraman Bowls Club, on the New England Highway, is hosting a family-friendly barefoot bowls afternoon from 4:00pm this afternoon. No equipment is needed (just wear flat-sole shoes). Members will be on hand to share tips and tricks. The bar will be open. $15 green fee includes a hamburger or $5 per person for bowls only. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further.
