South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Yellowbelly Fishing Competition - Lake Boondooma
The 35th annual Boondooma Dam Yellowbelly Fishing Competition will conclude at Boondooma Dam near Proston. The family-friendly event - organised by the Boondooma Dam Fish Stocking Association - will have heaps of prizes at each weigh-in period. Food vans and a licensed bar will be operating and there'll also be raffles and giveaways! Accommodation is available at the adjoining Lake Boondooma Tourist Park. All competitors will need to have a Stocked Impoundment Permit to take part. More information is available online
South Burnett Community Share - Nanango
The monthly South Burnett Community Share will be held at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango at 9:00am (for a 9:30am start) this morning. Guests at this free get-together, held on the third Sunday of every month, can bring along any excess fruit, vegetables or other household items they have to swap with others for things they may need, or simply to give them away. Everyone is welcome!
Blackbutt Country Markets
The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held at Les Muller Park in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around noon today. The markets offer a wide range of locally produced arts, crafts and freshly harvested foodstuffs from more than 40 stallholders and everyone is welcome along! Harvest Share & Swap - Yarraman
A free community produce swap is held every Sunday from 9:00am to 10:00am at The Pink Flamingo, 19 Toomey Street, Yarraman. This is an opportunity to share your unwanted produce, seeds or seedlings.
Paint & Sip - Goomeri
Local artist Pat van Kempen will be holding another of her popular "Art With Pat" sessions this afternoon at Lightning Tree Wines at 1/35 Moore Street, Goomeri. Psychic Expo - Kingaroy
A psychic expo will be held from 10:00am to 3:00pm today the Kingaroy RSL Club in Markwell Street. As well as psychics and healers, there'll also be market stalls. Entry cost is $5, payable at the door.

The Annual General Meeting of the Hivesville Progress Association will be held from 3:00pm this afternoon at the Hivesville Sportsground. New members and interested residents are welcome!
Women's Open Golf Day - Wondai

The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
