The Gidgee Pickers played folk music from the old Coach House

September 4, 2003

The second of the South Burnett Regional Council’s “Grooving In The Gardens” series of concerts attracted a relaxed crowd of music lovers to Ringsfield House on Sunday.

The free, outdoor live music event coincided with Father’s Day so there were a good number of family groups among the onlookers.

People gathered under the shade sails to listen to the Gidgee Pickers play on the verandah of the coach house in Ringsfield’s gardens.

Residents relaxed on folding chairs and enjoyed picnic lunches which they had brought along with them.

The next free concert in the “Grooving In The Gardens” series will be held at Ringsfield on Sunday, October 8, featuring the Swing Beans.

“Grooving In The Gardens” is being supported by the jointly funded State / Federal Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
