Member for Maranoa David Littleproud has been given a new Cabinet role in the re-elected Morrison Federal Government.

The former Agriculture Minister will now be responsible for Water Resources, Drought, Rural Finance, Natural Disaster and Emergency Management.

Mr Littleproud was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 with a 17 per cent margin and gained a 6.5 per cent swing in the recent Federal poll.

Victorian Senator Bridget McKenzie  – whose former Ministry roles included Sport, Rural Health, Regional Communications, and Regional Services – has taken over the Agriculture portfolio.

West Australian MP Ken Wyatt has been appointed Minister for Indigenous Australians, replacing Nigel Scullion who did not re-contest his seat.
