The British are coming! Paul Revere probably didn’t say it, but the Kingaroy & District Vintage Machinery Club definitely will be this weekend.

The club is celebrating everything British – tractors, trucks, cars, bikes, steam engines and other vintage machinery – at their 21st annual rally which will be held in their club grounds adjacent to Kingaroy Airport on Saturday and Sunday.

Marques on display will include Nuffield, David Brown, Lister, Triumph, Wolseley, Morris and Bristol.

Clubs will be coming from Dalby, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Gladstone and northern NSW.

All the favourite events will be back for the rally, including the tractor pull, sled pulling, slow tractor racing and ploughing demonstrations.

As well, there will be a large display of stationary engines, all chugging away.

This is the sixth year the rally has been held in Kingaroy at the club’s purpose-built grounds.
