A 21-year-old Urangan man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Bunya Highway, eight kilometres south of Kingaroy, on Sunday morning.
A police spokesman said the incident occurred about 7:45am.
The vehicle was travelling into Kingaroy when it veered across the road and crashed into a tree.
The male driver, the sole occupant, died at the scene.
The highway was briefly closed while emergency services attended the scene.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
