The South Burnett Chorale’s series of concerts have successfully wrapped up for another year after four performances at various venues around the South Burnett.

The singers joined with a string quartet from the South Burnett Community Orchestra to present Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and “The Christmas Light”, an Advent cantata arranged by Patrick M. Liebergen.

They performed in Nanango, Wondai, Kingaroy and Murgon with funds raised helping an orphanage in Zimbabwe, RSL Welfare, the Australian Lutheran World Service and Southern Cross Care Castra.

The charities were selected by the performance venue hosts; this year: the Nanango Community Baptist Church, Wondai Diggers Club, St John’s Lutheran School and St Joseph’s Catholic Parish.
