‘The Village’ fundraisers Sandy Towell and Kaye Hibbs from Boots’n Bulldust Ltd and Pathway 2 Hope Ltd

A charity auction will be held on Saturday, May 16, from 2:00pm at the Kingaroy Town Hall to raise funds to support local people living with a mental illness, depression and those at risk of suicide.

The auction is being jointly held by Pathway 2 Hope Ltd and Boots’n Bulldust Ltd.

The two groups are working to create a place of hope and healing called “The Village” which will provide people with opportunities to come together to support each other, learn new skills, have some fun, link with professionals and even find employment.

There are many facets to this project but the single most important one is that it is run by the community for the community so will strengthen the community.

The auction will present a large variety of both new and good quality used items including: Upright stove, crockpot, picnic set, retro lounge, blender, steam mops, sofa bed, coffee machine, hair dryer, desk, cook books, gift sets, ladies pjs, photo frames, throw rugs, jewellery box, canisters, fan, hay bales, chook food, vouchers valued up to $300, and much more.

Coffee, tea, cold drinks and snacks will be available so please come along, get yourself some real bargains and help your local community to help itself.
