The South Burnett Race Club will be holding its annual Caulfield Cup race meeting – always one of its biggest meetings of the year – at the Wondai Racecourse on Saturday (October 17).
The meeting also coincides with the richest race meeting on the Australian racing calendar, The TAB Everest, at Randwick.
Both races – and all the other interstate races – will be on the screens at the Wondai course.
Wondai is hosting a five-race meeting with the first race leaving the barriers at 1:35pm.
This meeting’s fashion theme is “Country Meets Couture” so racegoers can expect some very well-dressed entrants in the Fashions Of The Field competitions.
Gates will open at the track about 11:30am and the feature race of the day – the Roy and Glenis Radunz Wondai Cup – will leave the barriers at 4:05pm.
Admission to the racecourse is $10, and guests should bring cash because there is no EFTPOS available on site.
