It’s not every day that you turn 101, so Margaret Francis had a special “customised” birthday experience at Karinya in Nanango on Saturday.
The South Burnett Gas Guzzlers hot rod and custom car club rolled into Karinya for the residents to take a look at.
The club also presented Margaret with a bunch of flowers.
The display of vehicles brought back special memories for one Karinya resident.
Frieda Suvajac lived in Chicago from 1950 to 1971 when she came to Australia.
During her time in the US, she owned a Chevrolet so the 1956 Chevy on show was a special treat for her.
