A crowd of about 50 friends, family members and Nanango residents gathered at Ringsfield House in Nanango on Saturday for the official launch of local author Bill Andress’s latest book.

“Think Back 2” is a collection of stories about times past in Nanango, and is a follow-up to his popular first book, “Think Back”.

Fellow Nanango author Liz Caffery, local councillor Barry Green and publisher Sandy Towell spoke at the launch.

Liz congratulated Bill on his latest work.

“Once again you have provided us with stories that are nostalgic, interesting and entertaining,” she said.

“Memories which stimulate lots of animated storytelling amongst those of us from a particular generation with similar experiences.

“It is only through people like yourself who have the skill for recording these stories that books like Think back 2 become such priceless documents.

“Each one celebrates the wonderful legacy gifted to us by the people who feature in its pages.”
