Workers and volunteers at The Gumnut Place at Murgon are gearing up for a busy Christmas with the not-for-profit organisation ready to tackle catering requests and hamper orders from across the region.

Gumnut, which provides meaningful employment for people with a disability, has expanded its catering options and is now able to supply canapes and finger food for functions.

Attendees at South Burnett CTC’s recent annual general meeting in Kingaroy enjoyed pork balls, chicken pieces and other treats prepared by the crew at Gumnut.

The organisation also has a special Christmas range at present, including rum balls, Christmas cakes, Christmas puddings, and three sizes of hamper ranging in price from $25 to $80.
