The Department of Natural Resource and Mines will be holding an information session in Kingaroy next month on the changes to the Vegetation Management Act 1999.
The sessions will provide an overview of the new exemptions, mapping products available, how self-assessable vegetation clearing codes will work, and high-value agriculture.
Officers from the department will be on hand to discuss individual property vegetation clearing matters with landholders.
The information session will be held from 10:00am on December 10 at the DNRM office at 16 Alfred Street, Kingaroy.
