Police have charged a 38-year-old Cherbourg man with attempted murder after an incident yesterday in Sippy Downs.
Police were called to a residence on Statesman Circuit about 2:25am following reports of an assault.
A police media spokesman said they found a 38-year-old man with stab wounds to his arm, torso and leg.
He was taken to hospital in a non-life-threatening condition.
A 38-year-old man Cherbourg man has been charged with attempted murder, wounding, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of utensils and other matters.
He is expected to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court today.
